Abundance Mindset

WORLDLY POSSESSIONS

People often say that can’t take your wealth and worldly possessions with you when you die…
While that is clearly true, the things we own can also be a source of great comfort and enjoyment.

In a world where so many people are struggling to make ends meet, having a few possessions to call our own can be a source of great pride; even if we don’t have an abundance of material possessions, the ones we do have can bring us a lot of happiness.

Whether it’s a favourite book, piece of clothing, or piece of jewellery, the things we own can help to make our lives more enjoyable so while we shouldn’t focus too much on material things, it’s also important to appreciate the role they can play in our lives.

We all have possessions that are important to us; they may be material things like a car or a house, or they may be less tangible things like memories or experiences…
Whatever form they take, our possessions play an important role in our lives and they can provide us with a sense of security, abundance, and can help us to create lasting memories.

Whatever form they take, our possessions play an important role in our lives and they can provide us with a sense of security, abundance, and can help us to create lasting memories.

Our worldly possessions can also be a source of stress, however, if we become too attached to them or if we have too many of them.

It is important to find a balance between appreciating our possessions and not letting them control our lives.; when we do this, we can enjoy the abundance that they offer without letting them overwhelm us.

We live in a culture of abundance, where we are constantly bombarded with advertisements telling us that we need the latest and greatest gadget or designer clothing; as a result, it can be all too easy to forget the value of our possessions and take them for granted.

The truth is, however, that every possession has a limited lifespan and will eventually depreciate; this is especially true for material goods, which are subject to wear and tear.
Even items that are carefully maintained will eventually show signs of age, whether it’s a scratch on a piece of jewelery or a stain on a couch.

While it’s impossible to prevent depreciation, it’s important to be mindful of it. By appreciating the things we have, we can get more enjoyment out of them and extend their lifespan.

While it’s true that our worldly possessions can depreciate in value over time, it’s important to remember that this is only a natural part of the abundance cycle; everything in the universe is constantly moving and flowing, and nothing remains static for long.
Just as our physical bodies are constantly breaking down and rebuilding themselves, so too do our possessions go through a similar process of decay and regeneration.

It’s important to embrace this natural cycle, and to let go of attachment to the things we own.
By doing so, we can live more lightly on the earth, and we can also find greater peace and contentment in our lives.
